Looking for on-snow training?
Our Winter Outdoor Ski & Snowboard Academy runs weekly mountain days at Mountain Creek with professional NBW coaching, small groups, transportation from Brooklyn and Manhattan, and school pick-up options on select days.
Keep kids moving, learning, and progressing all winter with No Bad Weather®. Our Indoor After-School Academy combines skateboarding, biking, trampoline training, balance, acrobatics, creative projects, and active play in a supportive small-group environment at the NBW Academy Center.
Our Winter Semester is designed to work alongside NBW’s ski and snowboard programs, giving kids a consistent place to stay active throughout the week while building coordination, confidence, balance, and overall athletic skills.

School Pick-Up
School pick-up will be available on select weekdays for participating Brooklyn schools, similar to our Fall Semester. Pick-up availability depends on the number of children from each school, daily routing, and program capacity.
Families interested in school pick-up can let us know their child’s school, class, and preferred program day when requesting Winter placement. Final pick-up routes will be confirmed before the semester begins.
Session Options
Afternoon sessions run through 6:00 PM, with options based on school dismissal times and school pick-up routes. Exact Winter schedules and available days will be shared with confirmed families.
Winter 2027 Enrollment
Winter registration will not open for public online sign-ups.
Due to the high number of inquiries and limited program capacity, Winter placements will be confirmed individually. Priority will be given to returning NBW families, followed by new families based on availability, age, group structure, school pick-up routes, and overall program fit.
Participation in a previous NBW program does not guarantee enrollment or placement in future programs.

New and returning families interested in joining our Winter programs are invited to visit the NBW Academy Center, meet the team, see the space, and learn about our Indoor After-School Academy, NBW Ski & Snowboard Club, school pick-up options, and the best Winter program for your child.
New families are always welcome. We especially love welcoming families who discover NBW through our existing parent community, school communities, and word-of-mouth referrals. Those relationships have helped us build the close-knit, supportive NBW community we’re proud of, and the Open House is the perfect way for new families to get to know us before joining a program.
Due to high demand and limited capacity, Winter registration will not open for public online sign-ups. Registration options will be provided directly to approved families.
SKI & SNOWBOARD GEAR SALE
Our ski and snowboard gear must go! Open House families will have access to available NBW ski and snowboard equipment at prices significantly below typical seasonal rental costs. We want to support our NBW ski families even more by helping kids get properly equipped for winter at a great price. Available gear is limited and offered while supplies last.
Program Notes
NBW follows the school calendar and does not run regular after-school sessions during scheduled school holidays. Program days, school pick-up routes, staffing, and group placement are confirmed each semester.
