NBW Ski & Snowboard Competition Team

It’s happening! This season, NYC kids finally have a way to seriously train and participate in ski and snowboard competitions. Whether your child is looking to improve their skills or aiming for future scholarships, this team is designed for athletes who want to train hard, compete confidently, and grow in a focused, high-performance environment.
Fall Afterschool Training (September–December)
- Wednesdays: On-snow training at Big Snow (transportation included, ski pass and equipment not included in the fee)

Thursdays (4:30–6:00 PM): Indoor dryland training focused on:
- Acrobatics & Air Awareness
- Core Strength & Stability
- Balance, Flexibility & Mobility
- Plyometrics & Sport-Specific Conditioning
Competition Focus
- Ski Cross / Boardercross
- Slopestyle
Program Fee: $3,650 (12 Weeks)
The team is limited to just six athletes to ensure highly individualized coaching. Participants must confidently ski or snowboard all terrains and be committed to focused training and development.
Full Athlete Support: Gear, Tuning & Waxing
- We help each athlete select the best gear for their needs before the season begins.
- Includes full tuning and waxing services, plus access to our race-day waxing team.
At-Home Training Plan
Each athlete receives a 15-minute daily workout (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) to support mobility, strength, and recovery.
Winter Season Expansion (Starting December)
- Weekend Sleepaway Camps: Customized based on location, competitions, snow conditions, and accommodations.
- European Ski Safari
- Extra Ski Days (includes coaching and logistics)
- Ski Pass: Not included. Parents will receive detailed recommendations on the best pass options after enrollment.
More information and pricing for all of the above will be released mid-semester, as we will have access to competition schedules and have formed a team.
